An Econiq runs well on its own sensors. In larger homes, add Sentinel-X room sensors: humidity in the en-suite, CO₂ in the bedrooms, presence detection in a utility. When one room needs more air, the system responds straight away. Wireless models need no cable to the unit (RF 868 MHz, about 20 m indoors and 100 m in the open).
| Sensor / control | What it does for you | Power | Stock ref |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temperature & humidity sensor | Boosts the system when a shower or drying clothes raise humidity (0–90% RH). | Battery 2×AAA, or 240 V | 496431 · 496429 |
| CO₂, temperature & humidity sensor | Measures stale air (0–2000 ppm) in bedrooms and living rooms; air-quality traffic-light LED. | 240 V wireless, or 0–10 V wired (24 V) | 496433 · 496432 |
| PIR presence sensor | Detects someone in the room (3 m range) and runs the system higher for 5–25 minutes. | 240 V | 496438 |
| 4-speed switch with temperature & humidity | Choose the speed yourself from the wall. White or black. | Battery, 240 V wireless or 240 V wired | 496437 · 496620 · 496621 |
| Wall HMI kit | A second full control panel on the wall, away from the unit. | 240 V | 411628 |

Good to know
The sensors tell the Econiq when a room needs more air, and the unit raises the airflow for the whole system. Rooms are not ventilated separately; for true room-by-room zoning see the DucoBox Focus.
